In alignment with the UK Mental Health Awareness Week, why not join presenter Nigel Cox to discuss the state of wellbeing and mental health in the garden!
Working outside in nature has been shown to alleviate mental health problems and reduce anxiety levels. Gardening particularly has prospered during the lockdown with people spending more time in the open air.
In this presentation Nigel Cox (Senior Horticulture lecturer at Bridgwater and Taunton College) will discuss how mental health problems can be helped in the garden and look at some of the ways this can be done including the use of plants and other activities including meditation and promotion of mindfulness.
